Why choose us?
EML Business was established by Eddie Medina, to provide business solutions and training services, to both companies and private individuals. Our core software focus is IBM Cognos TM1, including Architect, Web, Perspectives and Performance Modeler applications.
Eddie is a certified IBM developer for Cognos Controller, Enterprise Planning, BI and TM1. He has acquired a vast amount of experience in IBM Cognos financial software applications, having worked in the industry for over 7 years.
Eddie is an independent TM1 Developer / Architect, currently working with Hastings Direct, as a consultant to their Finance Systems team. He is therefore able to offer practical experience of the latest TM1 models and software to our training courses.
Developing new financial applications, and subsequently training staff in the utilisation of these applications is something he not only enjoys, but feels is one of his strengths.

Our courses are primarily online, with optional 1-day intensive training days, to complement the online training. This is a very flexible setup, designed to fit around work commitments.

What we offer
We offer two types of training courses:

Standard training courses
These are primarily online-based. Participants can log on at any time and complete the training at their own pace, working to their own schedule, around any current commitments. The online training is complemented by 1-day intensive training days, which are held at various locations throughout the year.
Tailor-made training courses
These are for companies or larger groups of people who wish to undertake training either onsite their business premises, or at times/locations convenient to them.
We can either arrange for an instructor to come to your preferred location, or we can arrange the training you require, at one of our usual locations, on the dates of your choosing.
With our tailor-made training, you can customise the course to your specific requirements, ensuring you receive the training that best suits your business needs.
